Description: This painting is based on a photo by Suellen Boag. It is taken in Central Otago looking towards Arrowtown. My mother comes from this area and we often visited here as children. I'm captivated by the colours which are so beautiful, vivid and clear.

Description: Our home in Nelson looks out over the Haven (estuary) and across the boulder banks towards the Tasman Bay and the mountains beyond. Natural boulder banks are very rare. Sometimes, on stormy days we would go down to the boulder bank and watch the fishing boats come in.
